This is the first in a chair series. It started with a used and abused wooden chair that was recycled to become the living base for this piece. As with many of my pieces the composition simply came to me. Once I envisioned it, I had to follow the image to its conclusion. This chair will never function again, but that is the way art can be.
As with most of my abstract pieces, meaning can be found in this representation. The piece challenges the viewer to reach into the presentation and find the meaning it.
