|Avocado wood on Padouk wood base
|18”H x 9”W x 6”D
This piece was a mission of love. I identified this naturally figured piece as a broken off branch in its raw form, more then likely a piece of fire wood meant for the evening fire on a cold night. Avocado wood is a unique wood for me, it has a unique scent when working on it. The grain structure is beautiful, with only a clear amber coat of polyurethane resin applied. This is one of a series, capturing the flow of the wood, resembling a woman dancing.
