Octopus’s Garden

This is a collaborative piece that included the excellent work of the multi media artist Denise Cerro.  (www.denisecerro.com) Starting with no set plan or drawing, I used the softer pine to mold a free standing work with the intention to turn it over to my collaborative artist Denise Cerro. Following her brilliant newsletter and YouTube channel, I have always been impressed with her willingness to press boundaries in her work.  The unique colors that she uses have also dazzled me.  Being partially color blind, I thought it would be a unique collaboration to pull her into the 3D world that I work in.  I was totally blown away with the end result.  I think you will be too.
