Seizing on the unique shape of this piece of Birch, the thin top of the sculpture is accented by the negative and positive accents. The light color of the Birch and the Torrey Pine base, give the circular black accents even more impact. It continues to be all about the wood for me as an artist. The design helps amplify the very thin top of this pedestal piece.
