Tilted Circus

Adorning this refurbished outside metal chair are various embellishments that enhance its visual appeal. The added color could represent the memories or experiences tied to the person who once sat in the chair, or they might signify the beauty found in solitude. Each decorative element might tell a story, evoking nostalgia or a sense of yearning.The empty chair serves as a powerful symbol of absence. It evokes an emptiness, but the decorative pieces suggest something further to contemplate.

This is a part of a chair series called Non Functional Furniture.  Taking discarded chairs, refurbishing them, and then creating a piece of art.  I am not sure where this idea came from, but the subject of chairs evokes feelings that are the subject of many artistic representations. The well defined lines of this aluminum chair, repainted flat black causes the colorful wood pieces to pop like a circus.
