The piece of wood in this piece is presumed to be Oak, gathered from a ranch in Ramona. The very unusual shape seems to represent a fist in the air from one angle, and something quite different from the other side. The color in the wood is all natural, with no stains being used. The piece was originally constructed in 2019, but revisited in 2024, adding Birch orbs to give the piece more meaning. It was also renamed Touch, with the original name being Stallion.
My Ramona friend passed away in 2023, and this piece would be a fitting piece to commemorate what a wonderful person he was.
