The color and grain structure attracted me to this piece of wood while shopping for raw material for art pieces. The Monterey Pine live edge is mounted on a base of Black Acacia. The two pieces are attached in two places for stability. The piece is finished with an oil modified Polyurethane Resin to bring out the natural grain and color.
