This is the second in a series of pieces that yield an abstract figures for interpretation. The slightly curved pieces cause a different interpretation each time it is viewed. Are the figures in conversation, or in a leisurely walk? My work normally does not resemble human forms, but these small pieces of Walnut seemed to call out to me for that type of creation. Again, I am led by the features of the wood.
